Wednesday 16th August, 2017 there was a celebration of Indonesian Independence Day in Pojok district. The location actually held at the Wilis Indah 2 I4. The celebration held by the second neighborhood association. This association is called Baretda. The chief of Pojok district also came to this event.
The event was started at 06.00 pm. It was not only the celebration of Independence Day but also the launching EMAS’s new spot. The new spot is called “BEC”. The name of this spot is similar with the famous English course in Kampung Inggris Pare, but it is really different. “BEC” is the acronym of “Baretda English Community”. It is an English Community that is created by the society of Baretda.
BEC has three classifications of the class. They are children, teenager, and adult. The purpose of building these classes is not only to join the city’s program but also to build English atmosphere in the society especially Baretda. By building English community it is believed that it can increase the ability of speaking.
The event was very interesting. There were some presentations from English Massive. There were six personnel of English Massive joining this event. They were Ms. Mike and Mr. Syailendra as the representative of management, Mr. Erwin as representative of master tutor, and also Ms. Anna, Ms. Nimas and Ms. Lia as the new tutor.
Beside the presentation from English Massive there was also some entertainments presented by the community of Baretda. The event was started by launching of Baretda English Club (BEC) and celebrating the birthday of Pojok chief. The next agenda was presentation of English Massive program by Mr. Erwin. The agenda was continued by giving prize to the winner of Independence Day competition that was held some days before. The last agenda was entertainment. There were some entertainments such as band, Baretda kids dance, Baretda kids singer, and the other. (LZ)
